I personally get very anxious with school. Sometimes, all the tests and assessments for all the classes just get in my head and can’t get out with thoughts racing through my mind, and a fear of not doing well which would keep me from working efficiently. Very recently, I realized that exercise helps me get the anxiety off my mind, allowing me to work more effectively. This is because exercise makes your brain pump endorphins, which is known as the feel good hormone. They help alleviate stress and pain, therefore lowering the levels of both (Med Park Hospital, n.d.).
